Q. How has your reading habits changed since you were a teen? or If you are still a teen what new genres are you in love with currently?
My habits have changed by leaps and bounds. I read a lot when I was younger, but it was nothing like it is now.
As a teen, I would read whatever from the school library that caught my interest, which wasn't much at first. But then I began to read Harry Potter, and it opened up a whole new door to me. I just couldn't put them down. My aunt and cousin were equally obsessed, and still are.
As a teen, I liked to pretend that I was into adult reads. Yeah, right. Still have a huge problem with even wanting to pick one up off the shelf. So, HP opened a huge gateway for me, which eventually led to my love for Mortal Instruments, Twilight Saga, The Hunger Games, and all the fab reads in between. And now? I can hardly keep my nose out of a book to hold a conversation!

I've actually read all of the books you mentioned EXCEPT Harry Potter. I've heard so many awesome things about it, but just haven't gotten around to picking them up. I definitely will soon!

I totally agree about HP, and the Mortal Instruments was THE book that introduced me to the wonderful world of YA. Without it, i doubt i'd read a tenth of what i do now :)

I'm an old follower...it's strange for me as I think I'm more into the YA genre now that I'm a lot older than I was in my teens LOL but there are so many more better YA books now than back then :(
