 "What book-to-movie adaption have you most liked?  Which have you disliked?"

Funny thing, my hubby and I were just talking about this the other day. I really enjoy book-to-movie adaptations, even when they aren't at all like the books. I love to see those worlds come to life, even if it's through some others eyes. With that said, I love love love the Harry Potter movies. My aunt took me to the first movie before I ever read the books. But, you bet your butt I went out and read all of the books that were out. They never get old. Another one is The Lord of the Rings. I have never read these books, but I really like the movies. They are my hubby's favorite books.

How many books do you read in a week? And in what format do you read them, or listen to them?

 

I usually read about 1 to 2 books a week. I have a hard time listening to books, so I mostly stick to paper. 

If I really get into a book, I can have to done in just a day or two. Reading all the details is very important to me. I have a friend who only skims the pages, and only reads the big parts. Drives me nuts! I couldn't do it. Sometimes I read a paragraph over to get the whole idea and make sure it sticks. I am a detail lover.
