Follow Friday (11)

Follow my Book Blog Friday is hosted by Parajunkee.

Q. Name 3 authors that you would love to sit down and spend an hour or a meal with just talking about either their books or get advice on writing from?

I have decided that I am going to go with three writers who's books are not only some of my top favs, but who's writing style I absolutely adore. I am currently working on my own YA fantasy/romance an would just give my left ovary (maybe (;  ) to vacation in their minds!

Cassandra Clare

If you follow me at all, you probably know by now that The Mortal Instruments is my absolute favorite series! The world that Clare created is pure genius in my eyes. And her characters are pitch perfect. I would love dig around in that Jace infested mind. Plus, she seems pretty cool.

 Veronica Roth

I am in love with Divergent, and can not wait for Insurgent to come out! Veronica is around the same age as I am. I would like to dive into her mind as well. How does she get the ambition at such a young age. Maybe some of that ambition would rub off on me while we drank Chai. Hey, a girl could dream.

Lauren Oliver

I heard about Delirium from just about every blog that I fell on. Finally, my wonderful hubby ordered for me, and that was it. I caught Amor Deliria Nervosa! I have always been the person that was in love with love. Never had I once thought that it could ever be considered a disease. Lauren is wonderfully imaginative and I would adore drinking coffee with her. I want to know all about her world of Delirium.

What fab authors would you love to chat with??

Hopping through. Totally with you on Cassandra and Lauren. I still need to read Divergent but I'll probably agree after it.

Hi,

New Follower. I haven't read any books by these authors, but i FINALLY bought City of Bones last week and want to read it soon. The other two i've heard of and have only heard good things so i'll have to give them a try eventually.

Happy Reading,
Becky

I'd love to meet all of these three as well... if only to ask Cassandra Clare, why, why, why with the incest storyline?? I almost met her at the American Library Convention, but she was just out of reach. I think it's so interesting that she got her start writing fanfiction.

Lauren Oliver always makes me feel so old... she seems so well put-together and confident in life. When I was her age, I was nothing of the sort.

Hi. Happy Belated FF from a new follower. Interesting choices. I've seen quite a few people mention Cassandra Clare; might have to go check her out once I've finished my current to-be-read pile.
