In My Mailbox (9)

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme created by Kristi at The Story Siren that gives readers the chance to share the books they bought/received/swapped/rented over the past week.
Tris and Izzie by Mette Ivie Harrison
Publication Date: October 11, 2011
Publisher: EgmontUSA
Pages: 272

"A modern retelling of the German fairytale "Tristan and Isolde", Tris and Izzie is about a young witch named Izzie who is dating Mark King, the captain of the basketball team and thinks her life is going swimmingly well. Until -- she makes a love potion for her best friend Brangane and then ends up taking it herself accidentally, and falling in love with Tristan, the new guy at school."

This week, I received Tris and Izzie from NetGalley for review.
At first, I was a little iffy on it. But, the more and more I saw it on reviews and read the blurbs, the more I fell in love.
So, I really do have high hopes for this one; I am so looking forward to reading and reviewing it!
And, loving every moment of it :)
What exciting things did you recieve this week??

Ooh I've been eyeing this book for a while! But I just kept ignoring it because the description never really intrigued me.

But now I'm thinking I might give it another chance! Let me know how you like it, and I'll follow you so that I can keep an eye on it! :)

I've heard some pretty...interesting reviews on this one and while I don't think I'll be reading it, I'm curious to read more of what others think. I love the story of Tristan and Isolde, though.
