Friday Five (1)

Friday Five is a weekly event hosted by Eve's Fan Garden, but the original idea came from Cheryl Renee Herbsman's Blog.

This week, EFG posted this topic.....

These days it seems like every book I pick up turns out to be a series or trilogy. (Not that there’s anything wrong with that!)

This week, we want to know what are your FIVE favorite book series or trilogies.

First off, I have to say that I am addicted to book series. To me, one of the big differences in a good book and a great book is the personality and depth of a character and how engrossed in the book's feel and depth that I am. A book with a whole world being shown from a direction and then another, through the eyes of character after character, and the tingly feeling you get when the writing about the environment begins to pick up, is everything.
I love to delve into a world that totally encompasses me and envelopes me inside of the pages.
Anyways, this if a FAV! top Five!

1. The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare
This series if my absolutely, drool over myself (and Jace ;) ), pee my pants waiting for the next one, guilty pleasure. I didn't get into this series until the City of Glass first came out, but once I began to read, I just could not put them down. Love the world.
2. The Twilight Saga by Stephanie Meyer
I have always read, a lot, but these were the first books that I have ever totally lost myself in. When I read Twilight, I become totally and completely lost in Bella and Edwards world of love.
3. The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
I picked The Hunger Games up off the shelf out of pure curiosity, and they turned out to be an amazing read, not to mention a complete phenomenon.
4. Hush, Hush; Crescendo; Passion by Becca Fitzpatrick
Mmm... Patch... oh, and Nora.
5. Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling
Need I say anything?

What are your favs??
Happy Shooting, Junkies!
